Good topic idea. Maybe everyone could post some of what they do on a day to day basis (i.e. full time graphic design, part time graphic design, graphic design as a hobby, coding, ministry, etc.).
I can kick it off and say that I do a lot of website development and website marketing for a lot of different niches.
The extent of my graphic design skills is whatever I can play around with in Illustrator, Fireworks, or Photoshop so I am really looking forward to seeing some of the stuff that other members add to the marketplace.

Hmmm good question. I do a bit of video production for my church as needed. Sometimes every week. Sometimes a few weeks or month go by with nothing. Not a complaint! Occasionally I create backgrounds for logos, or event slides etc.
Also with the video production there is a lot of title slide, and graphic images produced for those as well. We just created a 10 min movie just for fun and showed it in 3 parts before the youth service. I created all the titles and graphics for that too.
You can check it out on youtube if you want. Here is the link:

It's quite cheesy...which was part of the intent.
I've been trying to develop my skills in Photoshop with online tutorials etc when I have some spare time. That being said, I'm gonna get going for now. Looking forward to what God can do through this site.

Hahaha "Alice's mom wasn't a zombie. She only had a cold. She got better." haha nice!

Nice tribute to Michael, haha...

The 'tribute' wasn't intentional as such. We filmed this about 2 months ago. He was still alive and kicking at the time. The thriller bit came about cause I couldn't think of a better way to end it.
As for Alice's mom...I'm glad you liked that. She was supposed to be a zombie, but that tag line just seemed funny.

I am a Graphic Artist, Motion Graphics Artist and Video Editor for PCN (pcntv.com).
I give a pretty dull, boring network (we do mostly political programming) and try to make it look nice.Mon-Thurs we have a live Call-In Program. My duties for that show is to take the information given to me and create still images to be used during the show. They can range from 3D pie charts and graphs to bullet lists. All depends on who the guess for the show is and the topic. If we had some more updated technology, the full screen graphics could be animated.
I also make many of the on-air promos and show opens. I use After Effects and Final Cut for these. I have one several Telly and Marcom Awards. If you're my friend on Facebook, you can check out much of my work.
At my previous job at a video production company, I would be involved in the creative, shooting, audio recording, and editing of all the projects I was involved in.
I'm typing this at church and worship practice is about to get started...gotta run!

Ahh very cool! Being pressured to come up with unique stuff on the fly sounds pretty fun.
I think it would be a pretty sweet guest post or series of guest posts for the main blog if you or Jesse ever wanted to go over some of the stuff that you do with tips and tricks for using After Effects and Final Cut with screen shots, step by step instructions, etc.
